Tennis in Georgetown County
Welcome to the online home of Georgetown County’s tennis facilities!
Our primary facility, Stables Tennis Center, is a full-service tennis facility with ten lighted courts, two of which are clay courts. We have Men’s and Women’s locker rooms, as well as a pro shop with rackets, shoes, balls, 48-hour stringing, apparel, and accessories available for purchase.
Stables has many instructional programs for all ages and skill levels. We host several tournaments each year, and have many members that play on USTA tennis teams.
If you need information, please see our current program flyers under “Stables Tennis Center Programs” to the right, or call us and we will be happy to assist you over the phone. Also, please like us on Facebook.
Our newest facility, East Bay Park, has six hard courts, three of which are lined for Pickle Ball. There are two nets that are in a box located off to the side. You can find East Bay on Facebook as well.
Speaking of Pickle Ball, our indoor recreation centers located in Choppee, Andrews, and Pawleys Island also have Pickle Ball lines on the gym floors if you prefer to play indoors. Both Choppee and Andrews also have tennis courts available for play on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are interested in volunteering your services in helping promote and/or instruct racket sports, please call or email me. We would love to have you become part of our family!
Many Aces,
Coach David Bromberg
