Georgetown County Council recognized two students on Feb. 28 for their winning entries in the Palmetto Pride "Litter Trashes Everyone" art contest. Their artwork will be used on litter prevention signs in our community. The winning students are Andrea Abundio, a 9th grader at Georgetown High School, and Carter Gladden, a 4th grader at Andrews Elementary School. Each was preSsented with a copy of their sign. The students are pictured with their mothers, County Council Chairman Louis Morant and County Environmentalist Maureen Mulligan.
