When and where does County Council meet?

County Council holds regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm (with a few exceptions as outlined in the meeting schedule above). Meetings are normally held in County Council Chambers, which is located on the second floor of the old Georgetown County Courthouse. However, to better allow for social distancing, meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic are taking place at Howard Auditorium, located at:
1610 Hawkins Street
Georgetown, SC 29440

Deviations from the regular meeting schedule are announced in the local media and on this website. All meetings are open to the public.
