The Georgetown County Tourism Management Commission (TMC) is a seven (7) member commission appointed by Georgetown County Council and charged with overseeing tourism marketing efforts of Georgetown County, South Carolina. Marketed as "South Carolina's Hammock Coast," the moniker includes the following communities: Garden City, Murrells Inlet, the Litchfield Beaches, Pawleys Island, Georgetown and Andrews as well as all of unincorporated Georgetown County. The Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce serves as the administrative body for the TMC.
The TMC usually meets the fourth Thursday every other month (beginning in January) at 3:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, contact the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce at 843-546-8436.
