Megan Colegrove was hired as Georgetown County's Finance Director in October 2025. Originally from West Virginia, Colegrove relocated to South Carolina in 2011. She began her career in Conway with Shoreline Behavioral Health Services, where she served as Director of Finance. In that role, she oversaw grants, billing, medical claims and all financial operations for the behavioral health facility. Most recently, she worked as a controller with International Paper’s box plant, where she managed finance functions in a corporate manufacturing setting.
Colegrove holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a focus in accounting and human resources from Capital University, just outside Columbus, Ohio. Outside of work, Colegrove enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and exploring the outdoors. Since starting in Georgetown, she has enjoyed taking walks downtown during lunch breaks.
Currently living in Murrells Inlet, Colegrove and her family are in the process of relocating further into Georgetown County.
