Two new and one returning County Council members will take the oath of office on Jan. 10. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. in County Council Chambers. Council's first meeting of the new year will follow at 5:30 p.m. in the same location. County Council Chairman Louis Morant will be sworn in for his second term as representative for District 7. New Council members being sworn in are Clint Elliott of District 1 and Stella Mercado of District 6. The event will be livestreamed at youtube.com/gtcountysc.
