Due to the large amount of debris from last night's storm, Georgetown County has opened the overflow area at the Pawleys Island Recycling Center. Residents on the Waccamaw Neck are asked to please take all vegetative storm debris to that location through the end of the day Wednesday. Vegetative storm debris cannot be accepted at the Murrells Inlet Recycling Center at this time. Vegetative debris includes tree branches, large limbs, leaves and trimmings.
