Holiday Schedule for County Offices
Georgetown County offices and most facilities will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:
- Thanksgiving -- Nov. 25 & 26
- Christmas -- Dec. 24-28
- New Year's Day -- Dec. 31 (observed)
Please note that facilities that normally have weekend hours may have different closure schedules. The holiday schedule for the Landfill and Community Recycling Centers is below.
Landfill & Recycling Center Holiday Schedule
- Dec. 24 -- Facilities close at 1 p.m.
- Dec. 25 -- All facilities are closed.
- Dec. 26 -- All centers return to normal operating hours. Facilities normally open on Sundays will be open as usual. Those normally closed on Sundays will be closed.
- Dec. 31 -- Facilities are open for normal operating hours.
- Jan. 1 -- All facilities are closed.
