[ARCHIVED] Holiday Closure Schedule

Text reading

As the holiday season approaches, Georgetown County offices and facilities have a number of closures scheduled. Closure dates and special hours for county offices, as well as the landfill and recycling centers are as follows:

County Offices

Veterans Day: Closed Friday, Nov. 11

Thanksgiving: Closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25

Christmas: Closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26

New Year's Day: Closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2023

Landfill/Recycling Centers

Veterans Day: OPEN

Thanksgiving: All Recycling centers will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Landfill and all Recycling Centers are closed all day Thursday, Nov. 24.

Christmas: Recycling centers will close at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24. All facilities are closed all day on Sunday, Dec. 25.

New Year's Day: All facilities will be closed on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, 2023.
