Local municipalities and agencies wishing to submit capital projects for consideration by the Capital Projects Sales Tax Commission are running out of time.
The form utilized by the CPST Commission to accept submissions will automatically cut off at 12:00 a.m. April 2, 2024. No further submissions will be accepted after that time. To date, the Commission has received 22 projects for their consideration.
Residents who would like to learn more about the CPST process should visit gtcounty.org/cpst. They are also welcome and encouraged to attend any of the upcoming meetings of the CPST Commission, which are all scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- March 28, 2024 at the Waccamaw Neck Library (41 St. Paul Place, Pawleys Island)
- April 4, 2024 at the Howard Center (1610 Hawkins St., Georgetown)
- April 11, 2024 at the Southern Georgetown Library (4187 Powell Rd., Georgetown)
- April 18, 2024 at the Andrews Library (105 N. Morgan Ave., Andrews)
- April 25, 2024 at the Carvers Bay Library (13048 Choppee Rd., Georgetown)
