Georgetown County is building a new jail and we want local subcontractors to bid on work for the project. An information session for subcontractors who may be interested in bidding on trades for the project will take place Wednesday, May 1, at Howard Auditorium, 1610 Hawkins St., Georgetown. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. To register for the meeting, submit information at mbkbids.com or email mrush@mbkahn.com. Bid documents are expected to be released on May 15.
